Not Your Average Murder Mystery
First and foremost, A Game of Murder and Mystery (AGOMM) is unlike any other game you’ve seen before! Every mystery is handwritten, designed, and assembled by me, with original storylines you won’t find anywhere else. Each game is crafted like a short story you get to step inside including, layered characters, rich worlds, and a murder waiting to be unraveled.
I also write intentionally inclusive stories. In each of my games, you’ll find characters who don’t always get the spotlight in traditional mystery games: LGBTQIA+ characters, people of color, and voices that deserve to be centered. The result? Stories that feel fresh, thoughtful, and deeply human.
When it comes to AGOMM, you’re not just playing a game, you’re reading a mystery, living it, and solving it along the way.

All of our games come with everything you need to solve the murder, including guided materials, immersive clues, and a full solution reveal at the end. The real difference lies in how you want to play.
Party Boxes
Players: 6–12 (Expansion packs available for additional characters)
Best for group game nights & gatherings
Party Boxes are built for lively group experiences. Everything needed to solve the murder lives within the six core characters, but additional characters add new perspectives, secrets.. and sometimes red herrings.
A few things that make Party Boxes extra fun:
- The host gets to play (no spoilers here!)
- The murderer doesn’t know they’re the murderer at the start
- Suspicions evolve naturally as the night unfolds
- Extra characters can deepen the story.. or lead players astray

Spooky Night-Ins
Players: No minimum!
Perfect for couples, small groups, or solo play
If you prefer a quieter, more investigative experience, Spooky Night-Ins are for you.
Players receive a detective-style case file filled with immersive materials. Depending on the story, this might include:
- Police reports
- Personal letters
- Old journals or historical records
- Newspaper clippings or magazines
This format leans into deduction, observation, and piecing together information at your own pace with no hosting required.
Each Spooky Night-In includes:
- A detailed case file unique to the story
- A How to Play Guide
- Carefully crafted clues
- A full solution revealing the truth behind the murder
